Wayfallen is a space economy simulation. Persistent factions move on long timescales. Pilots are named individuals who outlive their ships. The galaxy is already in motion — step in where you can.
In Wayfallen you take a small ship out into a galaxy that has its own agenda. Major powers run on doctrine and patience. The economy moves cargo through a real production chain. Pilots earn names, scars, and reputations. Take the work you can reach. Hire the crew you can find. Whatever happens, the ledger keeps closing.
A real production chain across raw materials, processed goods, and finished components. Prices respond to what factions are mining and consuming, not to authored curves.
Each major power runs on its own doctrine and a slow, deliberate loop: build strength, take ground, exploit it, fund the next campaign. They expand, they scout, they keep score.
Hire persistent, named pilots — different races, different roles, accruing experience across every voyage. Lose them and replace them, if you can.
Build out a ship from interchangeable parts and module slots. Cross-faction salvage is expected, not exceptional.
Factions only know the sectors they have scouted. Intelligence decays without renewal. Recon is a real fleet role.
Each save is its own continuous timeline. Pause the game, return tomorrow, and the galaxy resumes where it stopped.
Wayfallen is in development by a single person. Built in Unity. Mid-development — no Steam page yet, no public trailer.
